    TIDAL SHORTLISTED FOR 6 AWARDS AT THE GLOBAL SEARCH AWARDS 2022

    IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN! THE AWARDS SEASON IS UPON US, STARTING WITH THE GLOBAL SEARCH AWARDS, SO YOU CAN EXPECT US TO BE SHOUTING ABOUT OUR NOMINATIONS AND WINS, AS, WHEN AND IF, WE MAKE THE CUT. THIS IS OUR FIRST YEAR WHEN WE AREN’T CLASSED AS A START-UP, ALTHOUGH YOU WOULDN’T HAVE GUESSED THAT FROM OUR BULGING TROPHY CABINET.

    Since we started up in 2019, we’ve won no less than 15 awards, the pinnacle coming last year, when we won Best Start Up at the Global and MENA Search Awards. This really cemented our position in the industry, and we’re back this year with our big boy pants on.

    Anyway, the news we’re here to tell you, as you may have guessed, is we’ve been shortlisted for 6 awards at this years Global Search Awards.

    FIRST UP –

    Best Use of Search – Retail/Ecommerce PPC – for our campaign with Perfume Direct – New Scents of Direction. We’re sure you’ll agree, the campaign name alone is worth an award, right?

    Jokes aside, we’ve been working with Perfume Direct now since the beginning of 2020. The results have been nothing short of spectacular and continue to be just that. Even in the face of a global pandemic, we managed to pull rank and bring Perfume Direct into the mix in a very competitive industry.

    Over the last year, we’ve had to work new angles, developing a new website which has given us more control over conversions and seen us continue to scale their business at incredible rates.

    We’re also up for Best Use of Search FMCG and Best Integrated Campaign with Perfume Direct for the same campaign.

    NEXT UP –

    Best PPC Campaign (MENA) and Best Use of Search – Automotive – for our collaboration with automotive prestige, Rolls-Royce.

    The campaign Catching Unicorns, aptly named in relation to the work we put into finding the right audiences. For a business that sells only a limited number of cars each year, it’s a very, very specific demographic.

    The work so far has been challenging but has so far brought up some really good results. The brand have been exceptionally happy with the results thus far. Bringing home an award for this work would really put the cherry on our big, delicious Rolls-Royce cream cake.

    AND FINALLY

    Did we say we put on our big boy pants? Best Global Small Integrated Search Agency – coming off the back of our awards for Best Start-Up in 2021. We are chomping at the bit to now be recognised for the work we’ve done as an agency, without the moniker Start-Up. We are after all, time served digital marketers, so being perceived as such, is massively important.

    To say we only just graduated from Start-Up school, we’ve got a really impressive portfolio of clients. Add to this, a client retention rate well worth singing about and an ever-increasing team of wizards. The team here at TIDAL draws upon some serious talent from every corner of the globe.

    The Global Search Awards are going to be an online event, broadcast on the 21st of July, so hopefully come the 22nd, we’ll be back with sore heads and a bag of trophies.
